I twist and turn and see....myself!

we held our awards ceremony this evening at the park...the girls recited the Promise and Law by the pond, then they told The Brownie Story to their guests. then we hiked over to The Butterfly Garden where they started charm bracelets, received awards and badges, and served refreshments to their guests. Liberty, Maddi, Trinity, Braelynn, Jazmine, Nataleigh, Kassie, Sierra, Kayleigh, & Brandy each received a stuffed owl as a momento. our next adventure? Camping!

Earth Day 2012

Braelyn, Maddi, Kassie, Brandy, Liberty, Trinity, Kayleigh, Sierra, Nataleigh, & Jazmine made smoothies, hiked at the park, observed nature, found some Easter Eggs, and planted sunflowers. there was also a few minutes for climbing trees...

and all the candy is picked up!

well, all except for that one box I screwed up....waiting to hear if Jazmine wants the right box, or just got rid of the wrong one. ordered badges thru GS Sunday. will place final badge order after Sundays Earth Day/Easter Egg Hunt.

Brandy, Kayleigh,Sierra, Maddi, Braelyn, & Jazmine celebrated 100 years of Girl Scouting with church at Mercer United Methodist, brunch at Ravanna's Pump House, taking pictures by on old building & the town pump & a little down time at Ravanna Park!

Forever Green

Maddi, Melissa, Brandy, Kassie, Kayleigh, Sierra, & Jazmine made t-shirt bags to help reduce plastic waste as part of the Girl Scout 100th anniversary program. they also used leftover craft materials to make new stuff!

Kayleigh, Brandy, & Kassie caroled around Mercer square and made candy snowmen and snowglobes. I scheduled our traditional caroling for an afternoon filled with elementary basketball tournaments and dance classes.....
